Organizing Earrings

This is how I get all of my earrings organized into a 5" wide x 7" deep x 6" high space. Organizing my earrings this way has cut my time when getting ready into no time! Hope it inspires someone out there. :-) Please go to my website for more detailed photos.
First step was separating all of my earrings into colors.
I got these boxes from Joanne Fabrics. They are called four-part storage containers w/handle
Each box got a different color earring.
All of my everyday earrings organized by colors.
Each box has a locking lid to keep the earrings in place & secure.
The little boxes have lids to keep the earrings in place. Each container holds 4 boxes.
2 boxes, side by side are only 5" wide
The container is only 7" deep!
With the handles down, the boxes are only 6" high
All of my earrings in a very tiny space. And all I have to do is grab the box with the right color earring for the outfit that I'm wearing that day, and getting ready is so fast & so organized.

When I was a teen, I had one of those huge large barrel shaped shades on my lamp and attached all my pierced earrings on it.. Took up no room and looked great. Also, you can hang a piece of that thick clear plastic that's used for covering table cloths ..hang it on the back of your closet door, or on a wall and attach the earrings to that.. so you can see them all.

Yay! Someone after my own heart. While I don't do it quited the same way, I have bee using plastic divider boxes for about 30 years ( i'm getting old). Many people have good ideas for storing visually, but I don't want my jewelry out in the open, Beside, I have too much of it
