Woodsy, Natural Fall Front Porch With Dreamy Lanterns

Aside from Christmas, fall is my favorite time of year to create an inviting, beautiful arrangement near the front door. You can check back over the next few weeks as we keep transforming this area with unique pumpkins we will be buying soon!
Over the years, we have changed the look of the fall porch many times. Sometimes it is more Halloween based, other times more harvest centered with hay and corn.
This year we decided to go with a more natural look for the front porch area. Various color mums, old wood stumps, pumpkins, and some new fall ivy are the features for this look.
You can find details here on this cute, cheap lanterns we have hanging from the pergola. They create the perfect ambiance on a crisp cool morning.
We love lighting these lanterns in the early morning hours, sipping some cozy hot tea, and watching the autumn sunrise.
Stone cauldrons always give a nice rustic look with pumpkins and mums. You can see the project here on how we made these cauldrons
This fall ivy always sprouts up around September and starts curling around all the pumpkins.
You may remember this little jack o lantern planter from a few weeks ago. You can also find details of that on the blog.
The area by our front door doesn't have too much space to create anything on either side, so we always do a little fall section like you see at the end of the porch in the open flower bed area. It is the first thing you see when walking up to the house!

I always add a fall colored rug and wreath to the front door. The past few years we have been using this cute wooden pumpkin. You can also find details on the blog for this pumpkin and where to get one!
