Not sure how motor oil gets inside the house? but some heavy duty detergent is about the best bet. the key is to, repeat, repeat. with a good wet vac rinse. Motor oil is about the nastiest stuff every and you may never get it all out. gum can be cleaned with a Ice to harden and get most of the chunks out, then just a dash of WD 40 and massage it out with your fingers....this will then need to be cleaned with some detergent to get out the WD.
