Autumn Chalkboard DIY. I came up with a few of my favorite things about fall and drew this design free hand. I will be changing it in October. I love how the chalkboard is like a rotating display of artwork!
Corner display for fall! Found a wonderful vintage wool blanket at an estate sale this past weekend for only $5.00. It has just the right colors for pulling everything together.
Here is the frame before I turned it into a chalkboard. It was a $5.00 flea market find. I painted it with a homemade chalk paint recipe and distressed it. A scrap piece of wood was painted with chalkboard paint & stapled to the back.
We finished the chalkboard just in time for Christmas!
