A Place for My Nail Polish

I've seen some of these very cool nail polish holders on the web recently and I SO wanted one but didn't want to start from scratch with wood and build it. I found this at a tag sale - I'm not sure what it is but it's wicker and it hangs on the wall because it has 2 places to hang it up in the back. Anyway, I had to put little strips of wood on the little wicker shelves because the nail polish didn't sit on there perfectly straight. (I knew that would bother me.) So here is what I did. I used old wooden paint sticks, the big ones, and cut them (with a fantastic miter saw).
Here is the little nail polish holder. Cute, huh?
I spray painted the large paint sticks white and then cut them with the miter saw - it's big and scary but I learned how to use it safely.
Here blue nail polish sit on the new little shelf.
I put a little fake bird up on top with a rose to fancy it up a bit.
