A BOHEMIAN NECESSARY ROOM

I am a gal who likes her own "necessary" room. I like to make it a funky gypsy hide a way. This particular bathroom required a total from scratch approach. One wall is old brick, three are stucco and faux painted while the door used is an old barn door. Recycled floors, a hundred year old claw foot tub, stained glass, ancient crown molding and chippy old cabinets for storage makes this Bohemian chick's gypsy spirit take flight. Chippy old paint makes this storage cabinet pop with personality.
A European style old brick wall is a focal point. You can use Z brick, half bricks and any plaster type substance.
I look my best in candlelight. I used three different glazes to achieve the look I wanted on these walls.
Old barn doors are the best. I love that this one also has its original handle. No lock, but this is one room I don't have to share.
A sink of many colors. Not as sturdy as copper or zinc, but I love the colors.
An antique shabby table for a vanity.
Old tile floor is good foundation for my claw foot paradise.
