I have rugs to help keep my carpet from getting spots. The rugs keep getting all wrinkled, and never stay in place.

You can staple or tack them down in a few spots using long staples or carpet tacks.

I glue or sew the "hook" part of velcro (not the fuzzy half) on the underside. Works perfectly & easy to remove later if desired.

go to a carpet store and have them cut a carpet pad into the size of the rug(s). Not very expensive.

Good morning!! The above 2 suggestions may ? work but the damage what is under the rug---like like hardwood or manufactured floor. Do what I do, buy the felt like material that fits the size of your rug. I have oriental rugs and would not ever follow the above suggestion!! Lowes, Home Depot and if you watch/call discount stores you can save a few $$. Never ruin a rug regardless of cost. Most of the time you can't afford to replace or find what you want. I got mine from Neiman Marcus/Horchow store. Easy!!!! Good luck. Oh you can call your high end furniture store for help. Ljc

Double sided rug tape from U-Line. It is removable and won't damage the carpet underneath. I have found thee rug pads don't work

If your throw rugs are washable I wouldn't us the double stick tape. You'll have to remove and replace every time you wash them. Using a bead of latex caulk around the edges and make a large X in the middle will work and they'll still be washable. Just make sure the caulk is dry before using the rug. You can also get a roll of the rubber like shelf liner, cut strips and use fabric glue to attach them and they will also be washable.

There is a sticky silicone pad that you get for the dashboard of your vehicle . This holds any phone ,coin etc and prevents them sliding off your dashboard, its not thick at all and a few of them should do the trick, bonus point is you can wash them in warm water and mild detergent. Check the internet for suppliers.
