Have you been around the DIY block a few times? Gotten crafty when it counts? That’s great, but it doesn’t mean you’ve done it all! Here are four functional home items you didn’t know you could DIY: http://bit.ly/1b2wEWH
Air Freshener. Did you know that store-bought air fresheners – even the “green” variety – may contain formaldehyde? If you want to breathe easier (and safer), mix your own homemade, sweet-smelling freshener, instead.
Laundry Detergent. If you’re interested in DIYing to save a little cash, laundry detergent is the way to go! By mixing your own brand, you can save over $300 a year on laundry duty. Plus, it’s really easy to make.
Toothpaste. Oral hygiene is important, but a store-bought tube of toothpaste isn’t your only option. If you’re already thinking “baking soda, duh,” just hear us out!
Stainless Steel Polish. Between your sink, pots and other cooking tools, your kitchen can pack a lot of stainless steel. And nothing says “envy-worthy kitchen" like perfectly polished appliances!
