@ John... The polishing of this floor was actually less than an epoxy solution. The floor was new and unstained, the room basically a large rectangle. If there were stains they would have telegraphed thru the polishing stages. Not all floors are good candidates for this. We could have ground the floor, stained and sealed it for even less. As you well know, there are a million different combinations of solutions based on a huge number of variables such as how porous the concrete is, its stability, stains, etc... The client had a sound, new floor, perfect for the application of a true polish. The floor is so dense that oils will not immediately penetrate. Of course, that wont be the case if the oil is not picked up in a few days.....
