Cleaning stubborn stains in a bathtub

Hello, when my husband comes home from work he is completely covered in filth from his job, and the tub catches all of it, and now it is stained and we dont use chemicals in the house but we need a solution on how make our tub white again... any suggestions??

I use 1/2 lemon as my "sponge" and baking soda mixed with borax. Works good. I found that if you can spray the tub with vinegar after it is used, the scum won't build up on the tub/shower.

I did this last night in our bathtub. I made a paste with borax and water and scrubbed. Then I left the borax paste in the tub all night. This morning I rinsed with white vinegar. My tub looks very inviting. Now it's time to relax with a bath.

Sprinkling with baking soda and spritz with vinegar. It will bubble. Kinda fun to watch. Let it set overnight and rub a bit. Rinse out.
