DIY Fall Vase

If you love simple decorating ideas on a budget, this post is for you! I really like decorating with elements from nature the best. They bring in texture and cost nothing.
For this little DIY, I started with a simple coffee can and painted it gold. Even though I planned to cover it up with branches, I knew some of the can would show through, which is why I painted it first.
Next, I gathered up small branches and twigs from my backyard. I hot glued them all the way around the can.
Before filling it with flowers, I tied some twine around it for a little something extra. Just like paint can transform a room, a simple piece of twine can enhance any decor accessory. See my cotton wreath for proof!
Lastly, fill it with your favorite seasonal flowers. I started with carnations, but the dried hydrangea's really look amazing and will last!
See what else I made out of coffee cans here!
