I guess because the patio is covered its out of the Arizona heat. But they poop on my furniture and the floor gets covered too. They even try to build a nest on my paddle fan. Help

Put a fake Owl where the birds are coming in. I had a problem with birds pooping on my car, they used my side mirror to admire themselves. I put the fake owl on a fence post next to where I parked. They never came back. I've been lending my owl out ever since.

Never thought of an owl. I was using rubber snakes to keep the birds away from my figs, but will try the owl instead. Thanks.

Ditto on the fake owl trick -- but it works better when the owl is hanging from a rafter or something so it can sway a bit in the breeze vs. sitting still.

Yes! Know just what you need. We had a woodpecker outside my guestroom window waking everyone up. Popped into Home Depot and picked up a Bird Decoy and installed it up high (I have a gazebo on my upper deck in my case), and the woodpecker never came back. My son was just complaining to me that we have gotten rid of ALL the birds. My reaction was, "And the DOWN side to that is.....???" It totally works! https://www.birdbgone.com/bird-b-gone-hawk-de...

The owl thing works good, or try laying a branch close to furniture...should scare them away also.

A friend hangs a plastic bag over the light on her deck (where they had built a nest in the past). Been working like a charm for years!

rubber snakes or even a piece of garden hose. you can hang it on the house or a pole or just lie on the ground. they don't like snakes. we had a woodpecker pecking in our gutters one morning. we threw rubber snakes up front and back and they never came back. also put them in our blueberry bushes and we had the blueberries not the birds!

Did you get this resolved? I had the same problem. Birds would sleep in the porch rafters and poop everywhere. I bought some plastic bird netting and stapled it to the rafters. I covered the complete porch ceiling. No more birds.

I had birds on my outside light and back of porch bench. I used double sided tape. That was 5 yrs ago and they still haven't returned.
