No Carve Painted Rhinestone Pumpkins

Unable to resist painting everything turquoise, I gave some mini pumpkins an aqua makeover with some paint and stick on rhinestones. This must be the EASIEST no carve pumpkin decorating idea ever - kids can totally help with this Halloween decor!
I started with natural white mini pumpkins - real or faux will both work. These little pumpkins are adorable on their own, but I really wanted to try painting them!
I painted them various shades of turquoise acrylic paint (a good quality acrylic paint or craft paint is ideal). I let them dry for a few days before the next step. How cute are they just painted turquoise?
Then I just added some stick on rhinestones from the Dollar Store - Michael's and other craft stores carry them too. In my post I link to an online source:

I applied more around the pumpkin stem and then feathered them out, adding fewer and fewer. But you can apply these stick on gems any way you like! Plus they come in tons of colors, including faux pearls, but I loved the black and silver for Halloween.
And that's it! So easy, right?
I also made some other variations - a midnight blue "starry sky" pumpkin and a cool striped version! Head on over to Dans le Lakehouse for more photos and ideas:
