Homemade Wrinkle Release Spray

Easy
Are you a fan of the Downy Wrinkle Releaser spray? It's a handy product you spray on your clothes and then stretch away the wrinkles without having to get out the iron.
If you like to keep a wrinkle release spray around the house for convenience (or just because you hate to iron!), you might want to give this budget friendly homemade version a try. It's easily made by combining water and fabric softener. Recipes for a travel size and a 16 oz size are on my blog at the link below.
You can create your own wrinkle release spray by combining water with a bit of fabric softener in a spray bottle.
Hang up your wrinkled item and spritz it with the spray, stretching it a little bit to release the wrinkles.
The clothing will be a little damp after the treatment, but it should dry in about a half an hour.
When you're done, you'll have a smooth piece of clothing with no wrinkles and no ironing, at a fraction of the cost of the store bought brand of wrinkle release spray.

I have done this for years with Febreze! Works great when traveling, freshens and removes wrinkles.

You can also use plain water mixed with a small amount of your favorite body spray. It freshens your clothes and smells like "you"!
