Farmhouse kitchen paint & backspash suggestions welcomed!

We are restoring my husband's grandparents 1927 farmhouse which was on a dairy farm for a weekend house. We sanded off the orange glaze knotty pine cabinets and used Zar's Coastal Board stain, cleaned the original hardware & had a wormy chestnut countertop made. But now we can't decide what color to paint the wall & what to use for backsplash (no tile). Any suggestions? Specific brand, color & # are appreciated. We have not stained the floor yet.
