Chalk Paint End Table Project

My end table needed some TLC. Here is how I transformed it into an Antique Red Chalk Paint End Table. Check out the transformation.
I dusted off the table. No sanding required. If there were any raised areas. I did sand those areas and then cleaned the dust off.
I then started painting with the true red above. Using a short bristle brush, I painted the entire table.
I let it dry until completely dry. Then sanded it lightly in the direction of the grain. Then I added the antique glaze and wiped it off right away with a clean lint free clothes. I plan on adding a coat of protectant since glasses will probably be on it.
Here's the final product. What do you think? If you want more details, please visit my blog.
Suggested materials:
  • Chalk paint   (clothes for wiping off glaze)

I love this and so easy. Going to try with an end table of my own. Hope it is easy to find the paint.

Looks great! The colors remind me of raspberries. Good Job!
