With just a few items I already had in the garage....
.....I took this craft store pumpkin to the next level of scaring the neighborhood children.
These craft pumpkins are available at pretty much every craft store this time of year.
I used a sharp steak knife to carve a scary face into my funkin.
I made a base for my ghoul with a round wood table top. I attached a 5 foot plumbing pipe to the center of the wood board and a small 2X4 to the other end.
I used ho tglue to attach my foam pumpkin to the center of the 2X4 on the end of the pipe.
I bought skeleton arm lawn stakes at a party store and attached them to my ghoul with some chicken wire to make adjustable arms.
I covered the whole thing with a white sheet and a few yards of cheese cloth. I cut tears and holes in the cheese cloth to eliminate any straight edges.
Because the whole ghoul looks so white...I spritzed him with diluted coffee in a spray bottle.
That's it. In about an hour, and using stuff I already had on had, I made this spooky ghoul to scare kids away from my front porch. There's more detail on the blog...like how I wired a flicker flame bulb inside his head.
