Image Transfer Onto Glass

There have been a couple of parties recently where I have made Sangria. I use the inexpensive jug wine to make it. I love the shape of the jugs and hate to get rid of them so I recycle them using an easy image transfer technique.
After I removed the label and cleaned the jug, I painted it with 2 coats of the color Drop Cloth from the Dixie Belle Paint Company.
I found a French label on The Graphics Fairy website and printed it out on my home computer. When using an image with writing, the image needs to be printed in the reverse. I took what I printed to and office supply store to make copies using a laser printer. If you use an ink jet printer, the colors will bleed. I then cut closely around the image to remove excess paper.
I coated the image with Clear Coat from the Dixie Belle Paint Company and placed the image face down on the jug.
Now for the hard part...leaving it alone to dry completely. If you try to remove the paper too soon you won't get a good transfer. Once completely dry, I sprayed the paper with water and began to gently rub away the paper.
As it dries, if all the paper isn't removed, the image will look milky. I kept spraying with water until all the paper was removed.
I covered the entire jug with clear coat to seal it. Then I added a small rope around the top to finish it off.
