    I live in Humbolt County, Northern California. I have two mexican sage plants that I want to put in the ground, but am afraid of the cold.Is it safe to plant them ??

      @Nanette Cummings I think Mexican sage is Salvia leucantha and if so it is only hardy to zone 8.
