Creating a LARGE Chalkboard Wall

Ok, not everyone has a Farmhouse Pig Head to hang on your wall. But, you CAN have a large chalkboard wall and hang anything you want on it. (or not!) I did not have a large mirror or a large frame, so I made my own. You can use this idea to add a chalkboard panel anywhere in your home, and custom make it for any size you want/need.
Then, I cut and mitered trim molding to frame the painted chalkboard wall.
I used paint tape to tape off the size of chalkboard I wanted, and rolled on 3 coats of Chalkboard paint I bought at Lowe's.
I decided to hang "Cleetus" my farmhouse pig (sold in my online shop, www.farmhousedecorshop.com) - but you can leave yours plain or hang a grouping of plates, etc.
Cleetus looks pretty happy, huh? :) Please visit my Fall Tour to see more of my breakfast room. http://www.everydayhomeblog.com/2013/09/fall-home-tour-2013.html
