I have 2 complete bi-fold doors. Is that enough to do this project?

Depends on the overall dimensions you are going for. I have made head boards for friends and for flip-house projects...one I made with 2 sets of doors like this https://www.pinterest.com/pin/540924605222029... and another was for a wider bed (king) and we only used 2 doors and hung them sideways like this https://www.pinterest.com/pin/253820128971924... So you can do them either direction. In both cases, we turned them over to the back side and laid them on our work table in the fully extended/closed door position. We took some scrap wood we had laying around that was roughly the size of a shim and laid it across the top of the door from one panel to the next and then we screwed it in. This allowed us to "lock" the door into the fully extended position so that the hinges essentially couldn't work to fold the door up. We didn't want it shifting while trying to hang it or when people were moving around in bed. You can then trim it if needed to be shorter. You can paint them, add fabric covered plywood panels to sections for different textures, etc. I tried to find the pics I had of our actual DIY projects but I have literally 1000s of pics from different phases of the last 5 years of projects so I can not find them. If I find them,, I will come back and add them to this comment. Otherwise, I hope the pintrest pics of other peoples projects help you see what we aimed for with our own projects. Good luck!

If you have one set of bi-fold doors, you can cut them in half. Once you have done this, most big box place like Home Depot or Menards will carry cheap trip. If you want to get really fancy, spend a few extra dollars on some of the nicer trim. I've used trip to four solid bi-fold doors to create a wall . It turned out very nice. Think more of an old wanes board wall trimmed out.
