Any ideas on how to clean my acrylic shower floor?

I use toilet bowl cleaner on my grandson's bathtub when ever I visit because they never clean it and they work construction.(yuch! a white tub covered with grey oily dirt)! plug the drain, apply the blue toilet cleaner with a sponge to cover the whole floor,I use th blue so I can see where I've covered) cover with hot water, wait 15 minutes and it should just wipe off

Use 'The Works', (green bottle, Dollar Tree).  Use a spray bottle to apply, leave on 15 minute and wash off with sponge that has a scrubber on one side.  If any spots remain, reapply.  After the initial application, use every 2-3 weeks, let stand 10 minutes, and then get into the shower and just rinse it off.  No need to scrub any longer.

I use ZUD.   I have to order it on line.   I can find the ZUD cream in stores.   It is very gentle.   Do not need to wear plastic gloves.   I rub it onto the floor, leave it for about 5 minutes and wipe off!

I mix 2 c warm vinegar , 2 T dawn dishwashing liquid in a 4 c container.  Add 2 T baking Soda .  I bring the soap mixture to the tub before adding the baking soda as it foams quite a bit .   Pour all in the tub and spread to cover the surface.  Let sit for about 2 hrs or overnight before rinsing.  No scrubbing was required my 8 yrs of buildup disappeared and tubs shine like new.

Years ago I had this problem and found any hard water deposit cleaner works great.

I just used baking soda and scrubbed with a brush.  It took the grime and soap scum buildup right off.  Mine had a 'texture' to the flooring so the brush got into all the dimples and imples. Scrub in small circles does a better job than back and forth willy nilly.
  I also use baking soda on the stove, with a cloth to scrub and polish without damaging the porcelain.

My husband works is a coal miner and when something goes awry with the showers at work and he has to shower at home it destroys the acrylic floor of our shower! I have used baking soda and vinegar and it works but the amount of scrubbing that goes into it usually leaves my back sore the next day. I recently started using Borax and it seems to work the best with the least amount of scrubbing! I wet the floor a bit, very generously sprinkle Borax all over the shower floor and leave it sit for a bit. Then I come back with my trusty scrub brush and a cup of warm water and the grime comes of with just a little scrubbing!

Daily  Shower Spray will keep your shower sparkling
 3 cups water
1/2 cup hydrogen peroxide
1/2 cup rubbing alcohol
2 teaspoons original blue Dawn dish detergent
2 teaspoons Jet-Dry

Spray daily after showers

Heat 9 ounces of vinegar, add 9 ounces of Dawn dish soap (comes in 9oz. Bottles) and swirl to mix.  Put in spray bottle and spray your shower floor and walls if you also want to remove soap scum. Leave overnight-very important . Rinse off in the morning. It is amazing.  I saw this on Facebook and it really works! No scrubbing needed?

I usually put a cup of OxyClean sprinkled on bottom of shower - stop up the drain with a rag - run very hot water and leave in overnight - it's a breeze to clean the following a.m.

I've found that used DRYER SHEETS (such as Bounce, etc.) and DAWN dishwashing soap together work Very well for me.  The sheets with glass cleaner work GREAT on glass shower doors, too.

'Ed Fred' usually found in small hardware stores.... this works wonders, I have been using this for years... you want the tub to get saturated with the product and let it set for a few minutes, you may have to do more than one soaking, but don't scrub, no need to if you let it sit long enough... either plug the drain so it can soak, or use a washrag soaked. I hope you can find this stuff, it truly works

I use the liquid spray version of 'Iron Out' . Spray it on, wait a few minutes, rinse off. This works great on mineral deposits from country water.

About cleaning the shower floor I have bronze drain cover and any thing that would have a bleach like cleaner in it would bleach the bronze off so I have to be very careful for that not to come off any suggestions . I guess I could cover it and tape so it would not get on it.

We clean ours when it is black,  after the last shower of the day with regular Comet or Ajax (both are bleach-based,  mixed with a bit of bleach to make a paste. We let it sit overnight, and rinse before the 1st shower the following morning.

I found this idea on pinterest = spray with white vinegar === let it set for 15 minutes then use borax -  make a paste with water -- let it set for 10 minutes and use a scrub brush.  It worked on mine.  Good Luck
