Autumn Tablescape

I love entertaining. Some times it is simple. Sometimes it is "fancy." Whatever the occasion I like to incorporate a lot of textures and styles to create a truly unique experience. In this table design I used burlap paired with silk-like curtains as a table covering and then even created a burlap and organza ribbon skirt. The addition of greens, pumpkins and florals complete this rustic elegant look.
The centerpieces is accented with tall vases filled with twigs, chunky candles, and a collection of smaller votives and vintage glasses used as vases.
I love bringing the indoors outside. A rug...my regular dining chairs, and plenty of throws make for a comfortable and elegant but not too stuffy event.
Never underestimate the power of fruit. The pomegranates added a little touch of vibrant red to compliment the oranges and yellows.
Miniature pumpkins is elegant glass vessel - an easy display with great visual appeal.
Greens - yes that is kale, and simple blooms in autumn colors add interest.
A custom napkin with a vintage label and a wood disc with each guests initials accent the dinnerware.
Never underestimate the beauty of simple candlelight.
Texture - it is all about texture. Mixing burlap, "silks," and jacquards make for an interesting table top.
