How old are you? Black walnuts are very slow growing trees. Check on www.arborday.com to determine if they will grow in your area.

I just google the question that you ask and it said that you could. If the black walnut tree could grow in south Texas, I think that it would grow with ease in Northern Florida. The article also said that it will start to produce nuts in ten years from planting but you have to plant in full sun. I hope that helps you.

Walnut trees secrete juglone under and often well beyond their canopy that can have a significant impact on certain types of vegetation. Make certain you understand this impact before you choose to plant this type of tree.

We grow pecan trees in Lake Co., FL. They seem to do well all the way up in N. Georgia at our home as well. Blueberries are not a tree but do well in FL too.
