How to do a leaf-casting!
A serendipitous discovery of a large leaf in amountain stream, led me to try molding it with a concrete mix and creating alovely mold and save the leaf as a garden art piece.

Take a leaf...
Set it on a mound of sand and cover with concrete mix..
Cover with plastic
Peel off leaf Ta-dah!
Show it off!

Deb Martin Knaff on Jul 02, 2015Often times these will break so some tips are to use Portland cement and use chicken wire or criss cross coat hanger wires half way thru the bottom thickness to reinforce the leaf.
