Ideas for this old door from the barn

It's dirty and not sanded yet but is about 4 ft tall and about 2 ft or so wide. It was from an old cabinet that was in the barn on the wall.

Do you want to use it inside or outside?

Probably inside unless it would be something for the back door which would be under a car port which would make it somewhat protected from the weather but not completely. I would like it to look antique like since our home is almost 200 years old

    What's a bard wall?

I think the best thing to use it for is as a top to a new cabniet or table. The old wood contrast against the modern look of a piece would really look cool.

You could try using it as a door with rollers at the top (to close an entrance)

You could use it as one side of an island for the kitchen.

Do you have a similar sized space in your home? Like an alcove type space? Granny had a space between the wall and chimney. Grandpa closed it in and made 4 shelves for storing all the containers she collected. Or you could build a closet to store all your small appliances; out of sight but close at hand. The door may have been part of an exterior wall for a horse stall. Sort of a window that could be closed off when cold.

We had an old door nailed to the wall of our breakfast room. I used it to measure our daughter's height as she was growing. We sanded and painted it and it was a nice conversation piece. When she had children she took it and used it for the same purpose with her children. We used a permanent marker and made the line with the date next to it. I'm thinking this will be in the family for years.

Make it into a coat rack. I think you could hang 2 hooks on each side of the door and make a bench for the bottom with storage for boots or hats and gloves.

I would use it for a gate to my back yard

You might refinish it as an outdoor table or bar.

Strip or repaint and hang on barn door track as pantry, closet, or bathroom door. It looks like it could be cleaned good and sanded and stained. I would keep old hinges rusty and sealed for aesthetics.
