I took the idea of chalk paint one step further to create a textured white (or any other color) paint that sticks to metal. This paint seems to stick to anything and gives it a beautiful rustic texture.
Dabbing it on rather than painting with strokes gives it a chunkier look
I had a few ugly thrift store finds that I coated with this textured paint and gave them a whole new lease on life with a Shabby Chic feel!
A coat of textured paint on this rusty bird finial made it new again!
After some gray accent stenciling and a coat of Poly, this paint isn't even chipping!
A coat of Poly on an extra shiny piece insured a tight seal on a much used bathroom hook.
