The outside wall is concrete block, starting underground to the left, and above ground to the right. I waterproofed the block wall with masonary paint, 6mil plastic as a further vapor barrier. Then I covered the wall with 1 inch styrofoam 4x8 sheets, then built an insulated stud and sheetrock wall against the styrofoam.
