I do as well, service for 12 with half dozen serving pieces. I remember when she bought it. I was very young, it was a few years after WWII. Some of the pieces are marked "made in occupied Japan". I didn't care much for them when I was younger but now I cherish them and the wonderful memories they bring back.

@Nancy ONeil I have this Noratake china pattern as well - 90 piece full place settings for 12 with serving pieces. My father was a career Naval officer and bought it for me while he was deployed to Japan aboard an aircraft carrier as my High School gradutaion gift. He paid $90.00 for the entire set (can you imagine)! Just a bit of trivia for you - this was the official pattern, Bancroft, for the Navy for their fancy balls.

I don't know if that would change the value, it may. You can sometimes find pieces on line at Replacements Unlimited.
