Glass Gem Corn

I didn't hesitate to get on the seed waiting list when I saw this beautiful corn's viral picture sweep the internet last year. It was love at first sight and one of the prettiest things I have ever grown. Every cob is a unique explosion of vibrant colors.
This gorgeous blue and pink variety was one of the first ones I peeled open, so pretty! I get asked all the time if this corn is edible... it is! But you must dry it first.
I love the avocado and plum colors in this one. All these corns are from one seed packet, they are a 'flint' corn. It's used for popping and for grinding into flour.
This bubble gum pink corn is gorgeous! The best way yo use this type of corn is for decorating. To see more colors and growing tips, visit the link below.

I got my seeds this last year but I had already planted my other corn (no gmos) and did not want them to mix. the first year I want to grow for seed So on the other end of property this winter I put in rye grain to turn under to plant the pop corn this next spring. Cant wait....I get all my corn seed from http://shop.nativeseeds.org/collections/corn...  ; and have always been happy. I got 100 percent from corn seed I planted this last year.. all drying for chicken feed, seed and to make corn meal
