You will have to over look the mess. I have been working on it for days now.

The unit over the toilet AND add a couple of baskets to sit on the toilet back would help. Also, get rid of all that stuff. Most of it looks redundant.

I live in an apartment with one small bathroom that has absolutely no storage other than under a small sink. I invested in a couple of these plastic drawer units at Walmart and stacked them next to my sink. It's not the most decorative solution but it sure cuts down on the clutter. Also, I store a lot of things that don't have to be in there (first-aid items, extra towels, and seldom-used cosmetics and other beauty items) in storage boxes in my bedroom closet.

All that stuff does belong there. I'm remodeling. Needing advice on storage. Not to criticize me. Thanks for advice.

im sorry. All that stuff DOES NOT belong in there is what I meant to say.

I have a bath similar to yours- back in the day a bath was a necessity not a luxury. go vertical. an over the toilet shelf system, add baskets or plastic shoe boxes for each family member to put necessities in deodorants, hair brushes etc. add a place for each to hang up a used towel to dry out. I used a piece of 8 inch wide pine board, coated it twice with tung oil, cut it to a length that allowed the door to open fully and ran it to the edge of tub. I added coat hooks for all family members - the kind with 3 hooks and the largest i could find. now the towels, wash clothes can dry out a bit, there is a place for robes.

mount on the wall toothbrush holders are also available, as well as dixie cup dispensers for rinsing. I also put a liquid hand soap dispenser on the wall. if you can get your crew to agree to 1 type of shampoo and conditioner for all, those can go in a dispenser hung in or near the tub/shower. for tp storage, i have round metal storage tubes on feet -they are meant to hold the "extra" rolls, but my back doesn't twist like it used to., and the original tp holder was behind the toilet on the wall. hair styling/drying can be done in a bedroom with a vanity mirror.
