I have a small (OK, being honest, large obsession) with kitchen towels, especially flour sack towels. Honestly I do not do much decorating in my kitchen, but I love have fun and funky towels that I design or I find in those off the beaten path stores or while I am traveling to add some zest to my kitchen. I never remember to take the produce sticker off my kids fruit - I was it but always leave the sticker, so the whole idea of produce stickers is a little joke in our house...and that is what inspired these towels.
You need washed (and dried) flour sack towels , T-shirt/Fabric transfer sheets, a color printer, iron/ironing board and the FREE printable graphic over on my blog!
Using the free printable graphic, print the image out on your printer. Be sure to MIrror the image when you print it out - it will show up correctly when you iron it on,
Trim the image out, as close to the line as possible and heat you iron up. Place the image center on the towel and about 8" (really it is your preference) up from one edge)
Iron the image on, according to your specific transfer papers directions. Let cool for just a second, and peel the paper away (More details on the blog post)
And now you have super quite and quirky flour sack towels. Package them up in cardboard strawberry baskets and they make a cute hostess - or any kind of gift.
