can you use it in a house on wall and a island base?

    Any product that is robust enough to be used outdoors will work just fine inside. The "fake" rock is normally a cement base molded material with will install like ceramic tile or natural stone tile.

    Yes, you can use stone veneer indoors, but remember, it is not applied like tile. You still have to use mortar inside to adhere it to anything and that means a backing to insure it stays up if not on a cement surface. If using it in a kitchen, it's best to seal it with something, otherwise it will absorb everything that splashes on it, including grease.

    Or you can go to a mobile home dealer or DIY store such as Home Depot, or Lowes and get the vinyil underpinning that looks like stone
