I created a simple baby mobile with an embroidery hoop, jewelry string and some scrapbook paper. It makes a big impact for not a lot of cost.

I adore this monochromatic look and I love how easy it would be to personalize the color scheme to your individual tastes. I'll bet you could even used paint strips to match the accent colors exactly. I clipped this to the Preparing Your Home for Parenthood board. Lovely!
