What would approximate cost be to remodel garage? I want to change garage doors to french doors, add a window, remodel floors, etc.

    I have seen many of these tranformations. I go by Lowes or Home Depot and tell them what you want. They have carpenters on file that can come but, give you an estimate and a list of items you will need. The charge varies from store to store.

    Average cost about $10,000. Most homeowners spent $5,000 - $16,000. And can go up to $30,000. All depends how extensive the work.

    Do not forget to insulate! Otherwise it will be blazing hot in summer and too cold for use in winter. William's estimate is, as always, spot on - just depends upon how much you spend on each of the finishing features. Also do not forget to upgrade electrical - best done by a qualified professional.
