Paper dispenser repurpose???

I found this cute little wax paper, foil and paper towel dispenser. Any suggestions what to use it for since none of those fit, they are too long by just a fraction! ??

What about a ribbon dispenser? You could put the ribbon on a dowel and then it would stay in place as you unwind it. Just a thought.

My mom had one of these in the 70s and the rolls I think must have been smaller she had a small thing of foil in one and waxed paper or plastic wrap in the other. Hers was the plain silver color this one appears to be painted. There are some smaller rolls of colored wrap paper at the dollar store probably would fit

maybe if you cut large rolls of wrapping paper in half, the size of foil or plastic wrap you could use it for a small gift wrapping center. Paper on top and ribbon below??

I would find a way to dowel with my wax paper, and foil and continue to use it. It is too cool! I'd repaint it and maybe even paint ivy or flowers on it. Neat find!

If they are to long by just a fraction, it wouldn't be nothing to shave off the ends of the cardboard with a box cutter razor blade. I also recall My Grandmother having one. When I get aggravated pulling rolls out of a drawer. I dream of having one of these mounted on the wall.

I have an old one and still use it for my foil, wax paper and paper towels. They still make the rolls to fit. I love mine.
