Tutorial: How to Use Pipe Fittings to Make a DIY Curtain Rod

I used galvanized pipe and fittings from the home improvement store to build an industrial style curtain rod for my almost-13-year-old son's room. Inexpensive white window treatments from Ikea finish off the project.
This was an easy project that packed a big decorating punch.

    Love this! I am painting mine oil rubbed bronze and using a capped elbow so the rod will just rest on the close nipple elbow combo.
