Free Dresser Turned..OOH LA LA French BEAUTY.

My Father in Law gave me this free dresser that had been sitting in their basement. I let it sit in my garage for a while, while I decided how I could turn her from Drab to Fab. One day inspiration hit and I started painting. After painting I decided I had a great Large stencil and that graphic would look great across the front. The final touches to add to the glam was spray painting the handles a bright GOLD. I am not normally a GOLD gal, but I am starting to love it more and more and love the little bit of elegance it gave to this old dresser.
Come on over and check out the transformation.

The finished French Parfum Dresser...from Boring to VA VA VOOM!
Here was the before. Dark and drab, but yet ready to be FAB!
A coat of #CECECALDWELLS texas prairie and Alaskan tundra and she was already starting to look beautiful.
I knew I wanted a POP on her to really show her off so I chose my Eau De Lavande Maison de Stencil "stencil"
I used a mix of craft paints to get a nice blueish hue for the stencil that would go with the green and the cream paint.
The finished project. I think you will agree she looks way better and is now enjoying her new life in her new home. Instead of sitting in someones basement full of tools. :)

Love the style on that dresser - it's very similar to my mom's old 1950-60's china cabinet and tea cart :) Wonderful update on it!
