Is This the Same Fireplace?? Optical Illusion - With Simple Paint

This is such an easy fix for an ugly fireplace. I'm a realtor and the client did not want to paint the room, so we had to figure out another way to give the room a statement! WOW
The Fireplace was BLAH. We had to make this the focal point in the room. So, decided to tie the fireplace to the mantle -- Place tape connecting corner of the fireplace to the farthest corner of the mantle
Walah! We also painted the hearth, although we used the same paint, I would recommend checking with the hardware store for a more secured ceramic paint. This chipped when we moved items around - and had to touch up.
Pull the tape off once everything is dry. We felt, for this room, we had to remove the TV since we could not hide the wires. The seller has a great Hummingbird print and I told her to frame it.
Here is the final look for pictures. However, I broke the glass in the frame when securing the picture (if you look close, this one has no glass) - the final result was a professional mounting taking the white background out and having a professional framing company handle this, LOL.
Final Look - we got compliments galore during the open house... of course no one saw the before and after.... but wow, what a difference! 2 coats of paint and about 1 hour time.

How did the paint hold up after you turned the fireplace on. I would think that you would have needed to paint it with a heat resistant paint.
