Ready to try something different on your next furniture revival? How about adding a hand painted element...it's easy! Just take a look at my last post to see how I give a dresser that extra artistic touch.
White waxed dresser with hand painting.
My favorite way to transfer large images...a projector.
Here's how I roll...Plate with paint and brushes to create image with accent colors.
Use a round liner brush with white acrylic and water to add smooth flowing flourishes
After adding a little accent color for depth.

I am wanting to paint a black wooden vanity to white and trim in pinkish color. Can you paint over black using Annie Sloans Old White on it. Any suggestions my first project.

Yes, but any white over a dark color wil take multiple coats. I recommend doing one coat in white primer to give a good base and save you money and time doing lots of coats of Annie Sloan old white. With the primer base, you should only need two coats if Annie Sloan on top. Hope that helps! Debbie
