A Lovely Dresser Transformation

Somewhat Quirky
by Somewhat Quirky
I love this color - a mix of Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, Old White and French Linen.
This dresser is painted with a custom mix of Annie Sloan Chalk Paints
The beginning.
The end. Don't you just hate taking pictures of mirrors?
The top was sanded and stained with Minwax Pickling Stain
The hardware was just painted and waxed with Miss Mustard Seed White Wax

Although I don't like to paint beautiful wood, this is a lovely paint 'do! The colors are peaceful, and topping it off with silver and crystal is the perfect touch!! A tip for photographing mirrors, if you stand off to the side you won't have your image captured or reflected glare from the flash.

@Bonnie Thanks Bonnie! That whole mirror thing....we had it in a room that reflected a sliding glass door and a deck. A not so beautiful deck at that. I usually like using the mirror to reflect color etc. but this time it was just impossible! That dresser reeked of old lady perfume and was veneer everywhere but the top. I usually don't have qualms about painting over veneer unless it in perfect condition. The top did clean up pretty well and I used white stain and wax on it.

Looks great. I just finished a piece with the same colors.
