Outdoor kale & collards, bugs eating them

I don't know what kind of bugs it is. We are up here in southern British Columbia right next to the Washington border.

    Most likely cabbage worms.Sora them down with a horticultural oil making sure the upper and lower leafs are covered. Repeat as necessary.

    Thank you. I'm not sure what Sora them... means? I'm guessing... soak them? Do you know if hydrogen Peroxide would work?

    Does anybody have any natural ideas or solutions? Instead of going out and buying other plants and oils?

      Apparently you haven't seen the bugs themselves, but you're seeing the damage - if you could describe the evidence your pests have left behind (a couple of close-up pics would be even better) I might be able to help you. I have been an organic gardener for over 30 years, so that's naturally my first choice also.

    We grow cabbages, turnip greens and mustard greens... insects are voracious, so we spray them with Sevin and Malathion.. available at home depot or lowes, .. i know, not organic, must wash them well before cooking, but.. your greens will be unchewed and unsucked by insects

    Use a product by Garden Safe found at Lowes Home Improvement called ( Neem Oil ). You will need to saturate top and bottom of leaves. It is located in inside the store on chemical aisle..I have worked for Lowes for 22 yrs..and Love my job. Hope this helps..
