Vintage Christmas Mantle...

this mantle has paper roses, pip berries, and pinecones in the greenery. then, I added the “vintage” letters.
lots of us have non-working mantles and I wanted to show how I stapled twinkle lights under a skirt of one of my mantles. super easy project and they give a whimsical flickering fire light at night.
my fireplace mantle dressed with twinkle lights.
just staple the lights to the back of the mantle.
painted wood letters, and paper roses

Lynn at shabby story I told my sister in law about this. Our local habitat store has one just like this and she wants one for the holidays. I told her she could have this year round. Not sure what she will do but I told her I would help her with it. I love this it make me want to do the same with my black hole. LOL I want burn a fire in mine. I was going to paint it a lite color but this would be cheaper and I think prettier. I love it!!!!!
