How to remove oil stink from cloth

When washing oily clothes, the smell remains in my dryer

    cooking oil or automotive oil?....before you put these in the dryer the oil should be removed more completely in the wash phase...perhaps you need to bump up the detergent levels

    I agree with KMS. There is a solution called OIL EATER available in a gallon at Costco or can get a spray bottle from Home Depot. Spay the clothes, soak in a bucket and rinse. After the oil is gone, you can wash these clothes in a washer. To remove the existing smell, did you try the powder that can be used to remove mold and other stains from a washing machine? This might do the trick. Have you tried using vinegar and water? This is a cheap and simple way to clean and get rid of the smell as well.

    I use 1 Tablespoon (no more) of Pine Sol in the washing machine. Great for removing odors, urine stains, fungus & bacterial cleaning. There is a slight Pine-Sol smell after drying but, soon disapates with air out items.
