Animal Print Bathroom on a Budget

Today I’m sharing our Animal Print inspired Bathroom that we did on a budget!
When I say budget, I’m talking no money to redo this bathroom at all. We put money into our upstairs bathroom so this one had to be done on pennies…lol. There are so many ways you can make something pretty and welcoming with great fabrics and fresh flowers.
The tile was here and the cabinets were a very worn out shabby wood, so we bought one small can of chocolate brown paint and gave them a makeover.
The rest of the room was done with accessories from thrift stores and a yard sale swap story. The two Lingerie framed prints were from a close friend. We had a yard sale together and we did a swap.
I traded her a lamp and something else and she traded me these two darling pictures. Free and perfect!!
You can find beautiful roses for $10 at your local Markets and if you cut the stems on a diagonal and then add and change the water they will last 1-2 weeks for you. It is amazing how a gorgeous color can change the whole look of a room too.
This little mirrored shelf use to be in my daughter’s room and she didn’t want it so it works perfectly in here. On it I have animal print candles, one of my Sweater Pumpkins I made, pretty boxed soaps that were a gift and a bronze owl from the .99 cents store.
I lucked out and found these drapes for $1.50 (can you believe that) and they were the perfect color and I added the animal print trim from a skirt (same on bench and towel).
This bench used to be brown and then I painted it white with pink roses fabric on top and it’s been in many homes with many looks….lol. I painted it black and it’s a little shabby but I like it that way. I took an animal print skirt that I found at a thrift store and covered the piano bench below and added trim to the towels as well as the drapes. The skirt was $3 and has a faux fur like texture. Lots more details on the blog.
Ideas. Come on over to the blog for lots more great ideas too. Have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by, Lisa

I generally don't like animal print anything but this is absolutely gorgeous! You did a great job. It's not "in your face" and it's very sophisticated.

You are so clever...............It's fun to create something beautiful with bargains ,and using something you already have. It gives a sense of pride. I have a teeny tiny bathroom that I painted dark brown using a sample paint from Sherwinn Williams. White shower curtain and turquoise towels and pictures and some jars and things I found at Big Lots.............it is sort of beachy and I framed two post cards in sepia that I bought on my honeymoon in Tahiti. It was a fun project. I like your imagination, You have taken what otherwise have been a pretty boring room and turned it in to a nice place to linger and pamper yourself. Very girlie and sexy.
