This is taking a while and many hidden little and sometimes big things that weren't planned for.
A bath is above the kitchen so we better get this right to prevent future problems while the ceiling is open. We replaced with PVC waste lines.
Better insulation
Electric is up high for in & under cabinet lighting.
Greenboard for backsplash.

I have to post a better photo of this- The fireplace was red brick and super dingy, not to mention DATED! I saw where someone had white washed their brick so tried my own method. White paint in a spray gun with low pressure and water
