so happy that I could help. Learned this trick when I was trying to get stickers off of a mirror to an antique bedroom set and did not want anything runny that could seep in and ruin the silvering. Happy Holidays
You can also use ''Goo-Gone", Citrus Power and Scientific Technology combine to defeat the toughest stains. It is can be purchased at Lowe's or any hardware store. Just apply some and wait a few minutes then wipe off with a paper towel. Sticker should come off with just one treatment.
Undo! It is expensive but works for everything that I need to remove stickers from.
olive oil, and hot water or soak in hot water and dish soap should peel right off
50/50 mixture of baking soda and vegetable oil. Mix well, apply to surface or sticky substance, let it stay on for a few minutes., clean or scrub off. Works really well and so cheap.
Paint thinner or polish remover
I was a park ranger and we had to remove annual stickers from windshields. aftter removing sticker with razor blade...we used rubbing alcohol...inexpensive and easy
Shout Spray in an aerosol can.
Spray it on.
Let it sit for an hour or so.
Adhesive softens and can be easily removed
Have used it for this purpose for years.
Can't remember it never working for me.
I use lighter fluid on a paper towel to clean residue off.
WD 40, Spray on it. let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then wash it with soap or detergent
somewhere I read about using coconut oil on that stuff. dont know havent tried it yet
I can usually get any tape residue off using rubbing alcohol.
