Turn two old wire basket planters and some scrap fabric into a funky, fun patio lamp!
I used a colorful rag rug for my fabric strips but you could use old t-shirts or fabric scraps to match your decor. Up to you!
Watch how I did it here!
I used a rag rug for the different colored strips of fabric, but you could use strips of fabric that match your decor. Also, eco-friendly bulbs do not give off heat so they're perfect for a project like this and if you worry about heat from a lightbulb.
Suggested materials:
  • Rag Rugs   (99c Store)
  • Wire Baskets   (Home Depot)

I bet it could even be just the one basket and it would give more light, but still be adorable! I love this. My mom loved silky blouses and I've been wanting to do a project with them that reminded me of her. These would be great under my covered porch and she loved sitting out there at dusk. Thanks for the idea.
