Vintage Linen Petticoat upcyled in to pillow

My 83 year old mother in law gave me her mother's slip from the late 1800's. She was cleaning out to move into a studio apartment. It was a half slip made of cotton, with wide lace inserts and hemline. Rather than store away, I used the fabric and lace to make a pillow. I added her Aunts broach to the bow. I returned her Mom's slip pillow, immediately she knew where the materials came from. She displays this on her bed in her new home.

I have some vintage fabric and lace. You've given me some great ideas! Sometimes the hard part is deciding what to do with something like this. Great job!

Thanks, you got me thinking. I've been saving vintage articles, too nice to part with just sit in my drawer now I can't wait to get to work and use my imagination.
