Can I have some help on how to store wrapping paper?

I keep a box the size of a cardboard magazine file in the side back of a wardrobe. This holds a small number of rolls of wrapping paper ( up to 8 or 10 maybe) nice and vertical.

No bows.

Tape and scissors live in the kitchen.

I use a triple dresser in the spare bedroom, One drawer for rolled paper, one drawer for gift bags, and one drawer for tissue, gift tags, scissors, and tape. Come wrapping time the surface of the dresser is perfect. For those huge bags I hang on a command hook or two in the back of the closet. This works perfectly for me. Hope it helps

They also sell long flat bins for under the bed. You can also use a suit bag on a hanger.

I use the long under the bed storage bins. One for Christmas and the other for birthday, anniversary, weddings, showers etc. Long enough for tubes of wrap, enough room for bows and flat papers too. Slides in and out from under the bed in the spare room.

I use a fabric "box" from Ikea, tipped on it's side, and on a shelf in a wardrobe....to store small and medium sized gift bags, and tissue paper. It's easy to see what I have, and readily available....I use a clear plastic shoe box to store bows and curl tie....I can also put small packs of flat wrap inside my fabric box. Christmas wrapping paper gets stored upright, in a box in the basement, with a clear plastic bag over it, to protect it and keep the contents readily visible for when I need to pull it out for Christmas.

If you have a space on a wall or on a door you could store the paper there. First measure the rolls, fix a box shelf on the bottom, then use a net curtain tension coil and hooks and eyes to keep the rolls from falling forward. Then use another box shelf for the bows and tags etc. Ideal in a craft room.

For Bags and flat paper, I recycle those heavy plastic suitcase type bags that comforter come in. Some have a zipper. A Smaller similar bag can hold your rolls and bows, tape, and scissors. If there's room, you can put the smaller bag in the big one so they stay together.

I use yesterday's newspaper to wrap gifts. Haven't bought rolled printed type for 50 years! Sunday color comics are especially good for his purpose.

I have the standing organizer that Cindy above has. l limit myself to that, with the bows and ribbons inside and shopping bags of gift bags and flat paper on the outside. Mine has a place to hang bags by handles. If you have more, donate for art projects or activites at senior centers or daycares.

I bought 2 clothing covers $3.00 each (the clear type with a zipper down the center and you put a wooden hanger inside) I sewed a few divided sides on one and on the other I left plain. I sewed the tops together and inserted the hanger.

I put all the rolls of paper on the one side and all the bags, bows, tissue paper, wrapping paper scraps and gift tags on the other in the different compartments.

It hangs in a closet, back of the craft room door, on a hook on the wall etc....

I have a shelf up above the counter in the laundry room (where I do most wrapping) that's mounted on triangular brackets. The rolls sit inside those triangles just fine. I have a small box for ribbons and bows on the shelf. Tape and scissors live in the kitchen because they're used for more than wrapping packages, LOL.

Elizabeth, some folks put these under the bed. We put our behind a door. As long as they keep standing up, that is fine, or laying down, is ok too. Or you can use a rubber band to keep them all together. Hope this helps.

Get some higher / deeper pails, sometime you can get them free from Restaurants or delicatessen store. Cover them with wrapping paper according to season, xmas, birthday etc.

If you don't have floor space storing the pails, you can hang them in the basement or garage ceiling.
